Dave grew up in Southern California and after high school graduation went off to college. His first brush with higher education did not end well and was unsuccessful. Four years of government work (military) promoted clarity of thought and a sharper focus on goals and aspirations. A second attempt at college resulted in good grades and a BSEE from Cal State University Long Beach. Dave has been employed as an electronics design engineer for most of his work experience. The balance of his work experience has been in construction. His first taste of construction experience was during summers while in college. In addition to a BSEE, Dave has a general contractors license and specialty licenses in electrical and plumbing trades. He has been a part owner of SEG since 2004.
